A calmer digital workspace for pottery
Glaizit was created to bring pottery inspiration, glaze discovery, material knowledge, and creative planning into one connected space. What began as one potter’s personal need has grown into a platform for ceramic artists to explore, document, organize, and share their work more meaningfully.
Who We Are
Glaizit is the brainchild of Awani, a pottery enthusiast with a background in technology and a deep love for the ceramic process. After stepping away from coding for more than a decade, she returned to building with one clear goal: to create a space that truly supports how potters think, work, and grow.
In 2022, Awani began building Glaizit as a practical solution to a problem she faced herself — pottery knowledge, glaze inspiration, notes, and experimentation were spread across too many places. She wanted one platform where ideas and process could live together.
Meet Awani — Founder and Creator
Awani’s pottery journey started as a hobby, but quickly became something deeper. Like many potters, she found herself endlessly searching for glaze recipes, layering ideas, firing notes, and inspiration — only to discover that everything was scattered across social platforms, notebooks, screenshots, and saved links.
So she built something for herself first: a way to collect, organize, and revisit pottery knowledge in one place. Over time, it became clear that this was not just a personal need. Potters everywhere were facing the same challenge.

A Growing Community
What began as a personal project has grown into a platform for potters across different skill levels and styles. From hobbyists just beginning their glaze journey to experienced ceramic artists refining their process, Glaizit is built to support real creative practice.
At its heart, Glaizit exists to make pottery knowledge easier to access, experiments easier to track, and inspiration easier to keep close — all in one place.
